Participation guidelines
In order to join this tour you have to be able to swim at least 100m.

What to bring
Participants on the tour are advised to bring:

  • Hats (water-proof )
  • Energy bars
  • Swimming gear
  • Drinking water (min 1,5l per day)
  • Towel
  • Shorts pair to avoid sunburns in the kayak
  • Sun screen
  • Shoes (no flip flops/water-proof)

Children Policy
Children 12+ are welcome on the tour. However, they should be able to swim.
Children under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult.

Arrival at your own at the beach of Drimadhes where you can spend  the afternoon and the evening enjoying the beach and the fresh fish and other delicious food at one of the restaurants.

Day 1: Drimadhes to Jal, 10 km


In the morning we will meet together and after the given instructions we will depart from Drimadhes and peddle along the coast in the direction of Jal. Halfway we will stop at the beautiful canyon of Gjipe, where you can relax, swim in the sea, and have a picnic under the refreshing shadow of the trees. It is also possible to visit the Monastery of St Thanas on top of the hill. In the afternoon we paddle to the Bay of Jal in a succession of small gravel beaches under vertical cliffs. This is one of the most beautiful beaches of Albania.

Day 2: Jal to Himare, 6 km


This morning we leave Jal and paddle along the virgin beach of Spille. We will make a stop for a picnic at the beach of Livadh. In the afternoon we’ll reach the beach of Himare, and relax, swim and walk along the waterfront.

Day 3: Himare to Qeparo, 12 km


Leave Himara and paddle along the beautiful beaches of Potam, Filikur and Llaman until we reach the splendid bay of Palermo, where we will paddle in front of what used to be a top secret naval base. Here we will visit the fortress of Ali Pasha Tepelena and then we can have lunch in a small restaurant. In the afternoon we reach Qeparo beach. End of Tour
