This rafting trip is for adventurous people who like to work in a team. The trip takes place in the Canyon of Osumi, one of the most beautiful places in Albania where we will explore the river and its stunning surroundings with incredible rock formations and waterfalls by raft.
EXPLORER FULL (From March to end May).
This trip explores the Osumi Canyon in its entire length of about 12 km. We start this guided rafting trip upstream of the Hamulli Bridge and end at the descent at the Bridge of Çorovoda. We run this trip only with high levels of water, from March to May. This is Osumi Canyon at its very best!
The beauty of the canyon is enhanced by a series of waterfalls, each more beautiful than the last. The abundance of water makes rafting smooth and fun! Hurry up and book before the water is gone!

EXPLORER BASIC (From March to end June)
This is a shorter version of the Full Explorer that starts from the old Mill. We start to raft a few kilometers downstream of the Hamulli Bridge, for an overall distance of 8km. This is the core section of the canyon.

This rafting track is classified as Wild Water II-III (running water with small waves) and, as such, does not present particular difficulties for navigation, or danger. The quality of the guides and the equipment used guarantee a completely safe trip. Previous experience or skill is not required. The guide on board will teach the group the basics of paddling necessary for the trip.
What to bring:
Please make sure you bring a bathing suit, a towel and a pair of (closed) water shoes or trainers. All other equipment is provided for (Neoprene, helmet, spray jacket, life-vest and paddle).
Tip: don’t forget to bring warm clothes for after the trip!

Pick up location
10:00 am: Participants meet at Çorovoda (1 hour south from Berat) and will be driven to Hamull in OA vehicles on 16 km of village road. Those who drive up to Corovoda in their private vehicles may park them there. Participants who do not have their own means of transport may inform OA so they can be picked up and brought to Corovoda. (Cost depending on amount of pax.)
Drop off location:
Tourist hotel Çorovode. When you enter Çorovode, go over the square and turn left. Go over the bridge and go in the first parking at the left
Persons with heart disease, respiratory problems or other syndromes not compatible with sports are not recommended to participate in this trip. If they do, they do so at their own risk.
You should know how to swim. Although life jackets keep you above water, swimming or floating capacities are an added security in case of falls. The equipment provided ensures good protection against cold; however, people have different capacities to bear cold and some persons may experience a bit of a chill.
Children are welcome to join this trip from 12 years and up and should know how to swim. Children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult. Participants bringing children are requested to contact OA before booking, as there are a limited number of places for children. Children up to 14 years, get a 10 Euro discount of the adult price

The meeting place is in Çorovoda hotel “Turizmi”, right in the center.
Is transport included?
The transport from the meeting place in Çorovoda to the river and back is included in the itinerary. In case you need help with arranging transport to Çorovoda, please contact us via the inquire now button.
Can you help us with booking accommodation in Berat or Çorovoda?
Yes we can! We have several accommodations to choose from. Please let us know how many persons you want to accommodate and your preferred room division (single, twin, triple etc.). Accommodation in Cerovoda starts at 10 euro per persons and accommodation in Berat is about 17.50 euro per person (depending on the accommodation and kind of room)
How do I know if this trip will depart?

Is rafting in Osumi Canyon dangerous?
This rafting track is classified as Wild Water II – III (flat running water with small waves). Difficulty level is moderate. As such, it does not present particular hazards for navigation.
Do I have to be skilled?
No, previous experience is not required. The guide on board will teach passengers the basics of paddling that are needed for the trip. This level of rafting is open to any skill level, even first-timers and children age 12+
Must I know how to swim?
Yes. Although the life jacket (pfd) will not let the person go under water, swimming or flotation capacities are good reinforcement.
Am I going to be cold?
Our specialized equipment provides good protection against cold. However, everybody is different and some may experience a bit of chill.
